It's Blogrolling Amnesty Time!

Hey fellow bloggers, this post is for you.

When I add new finds to one of my blogrolls, I pretty much do so without announcing it or sending an email to the person I am blogrolling. Sometimes I don't even leave a comment. I add it for my own convenience - to make it easy to check your sites.

I do, however, try to link back when I discover that someone has added me.

Well, the king of blogtopia™ (sctp) does the occasional blogrolling amnesty. And since we here at Blue Girl, Red State ('we' being yours truly, a three year old and two cats) consider skippy to be pretty much a blogging God, and not just because he gave us a t-shirt.

I am certain I have missed one or two, so please, if you have me linked and I haven't reciprocated, drop me an email or leave a comment to let me know, and I will add you! And what is an amnesty without a wide-open invite to share links?

Friday Catblogging: I've learned my lesson and will get this out of the way early from now on edition

Honestly, on the two occasions when Charlie actually did something, I took pictures and posted the evidence that he is not a plush-toy. He has, since settling in, decided that he can sleep any damned where he sees fit. And he does.

Yesterday morning, he decided Zoe's bed would do nicely.

And the shutter of the camera annoyed him visibly.

And Buddy Impeachment has an infuriating habit of taking over my chair every time I get up. He has larceny in his heart, I just know it. I can feel it. So I heed the advice of wise men like Mark Twain when I move this creature.



And finally - The reason I am catblogging instead of sleeping at 1:00 a.m.

Yesterday I fought the power - today, I got the official t-shirt!

Remember when I told you to go vote in Skippy's poll because I really wanted the t-shirt? And he left that comment that he would send me one just because I'm out here doin' what I do?

Well Skippy is as good as his word, and here is the proof!

Thank you, Skippy! I am wearing it proudly even as I type!

Of campaign theme-songs, irreverence and Kangaroo snark...

Y'all need to head over to see Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. He got an invite from Team Hillary to help them select a theme song for her campaign.

I did not get the email, but then, the very day I started blogging, over two years ago, the second post I wrote was titled Hillary in 2008? and I laid out my case as to why I thought she shouldn't run. (I don't feel slighted in the least. I think "Team Hillary" has better things to do than worry about what the crank on the top floor of the building where I live thinks about their candidate.)

Anyway - back on topic - Skippy has a contest going in the comments section of his post about Hillary's theme song...and the best alternative gets a Skippy T-Shirt!!!

I really want the t-shirt...

I decided not to over-think it too much, and instead go with my first instinct.

Here is my nomination...
