I think I've mastered time travel

That is the only explanation, because I could swear I woke up in 2004 this morning.

Either that or John W. McBu$h has taken a particularly odious page out of aWol's 2004 campaign and started the campaign for the general with a stacked town-hall audience. As the indispensable Oliver Willis noted the McCain campaign went to New York City, the most diverse city in the country - perhaps the world - and couldn't find any minorities willing to attend.

Or so it seemed at first.

Toward the end of the broadcast, Shepard Smith revealed that the McCain campaign had put the shoe on the other foot and misled Faux Noise, which usually just misleads the populace...

“I reported at the top of this hour that the campaign had told us at Fox News that the audience would be made up of Republicans, Democrats, and independents," Smith said. "We have now received a clarification from the campaign and I feel I should pass it along to you. The McCain campaign distributed tickets to supporters, Mayor Bloomberg, who of course is a registered Republican, and other independent groups.”

He really is running for a third bu$h term! He is even reprising the 2004 campaign, right down to the most odious campaign methods! How long will it be before his campaign vets attendance and only lets the sycophants who will sign a loyalty oath in to attend McSame events?
