It's a beautiful day in Kansas City - with bonus catblogging

Pardon the screen, but this is what I'm seeing when I look out my bedroom window. It's the kind of day I absolutely love - temperate, slightly overcast, and sporting a gentle breeze. I woke up thinking about going outside to play, because I woke up with my knees totally pain free for the first time in ages. The air smells clean and fresh after an early morning shower...

And then I read this and toward the end of the article, this jumped out at me...

“There’s no time ever — including when you’re sleeping — when you’re not worried about missing a story,” Mr. Arrington said.

“Wouldn’t it be great if we said no blogger or journalist could write a story between 8 p.m. Pacific time and dawn? Then we could all take a break,” he added. “But that’s never going to happen.”

I read that and thought "I resemble that remark."

So I'm out until evening. I compensate you with cats.

They love this sort of day, too. As soon as I opened the window,
the kitties were on the sill.

Ugh - I have got to restore the woodwork that was foolishly painted while this place was a rental...

"Honey, let's go to Home Depot" have turned into words that send a chill running the length of his spine...
