We always knew - and now it has a name

I have learned that when the next edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the APA is released, a new Axis II Personality Disorder diagnostic criteria will be included.

Social Conservative Authoritarian Mental Disorder (SCAMD) - An Axis II Personality Disorder, detailed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychological Association; Code: 11.200

SCAMD is a unique, narcissistic personality disorder, whose victims are not the ones who do the actual suffering. Instead, they inflict suffering on those around them.

Traits:

Generally insensitive to the plight of others, especially the infirm, elderly, disabled or poor.

Prone to ignore hurricane victims.

Narcissistic tendencies with poor reality testing.

Requires little effort of intellect, parrots talking points as prescribed

Judgmental, dogmatic. Prone to sanctimonious presentation.

Known to display frequent hypocrisy and to engage in "the blame game"

Insecure regarding new ideas/concepts.

Easily frightened into voting republican.

Prone to saying "Clinton did it."
