Appalachian Spring is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music.
I have been feeling a glimmer of hope for American music recently - and not just because my Godson is in the Composers program at Oberlin (Oberlin!!!)- either.
Remember the name Blake Richardson - he will be a guest conductor of a symphony near you soon.
