Taking in Refugees Cat Blogging

I could not bear to see these beautiful brothers separated, and their owner, a friend of my daughters, was beside himself with worry when he could no longer keep them. My empathic daughter joined him in his affective agony and the emotional appeals were never ending. She may be 23 and 5'10, but when she gets that pleading look on her face...

So now I have three cats.

Brothers

Buddy

Charlie

Phoebe finds the presence of these two riff-raff
interlopers a thoroughly revolting development,

and has taken up residence in a closet.

Ouch, for some reason the cat pics don't pop up. Would love to see the little darlins! Will check back later.

Now, I need to go take pictures for my Public Art blogging feature...

Wow, I'd love to just pick 'em up and hold 'em close. They are lovely! I haven't had cats since my 2 both died after 20 years. I love my dog, Smokey, but it really is not the same.

I don't know how you can manage with just 3 cats. Great pictures. I'll bet Phoebe will soon be ruling the roost again.

It's frightening how much your Phoebe looks like my Easy, right down to the little chest patch of white. Separated at birth...

bigcat: I'll bet Phoebe will soon be ruling the roost again.

that's about what i was thinking -- that phoebe is just waiting for the right moment to lord it over these two cute boys.

you did a good thing, mama!

[actually taboo, a closet dweller and once refugee interloper herself, told me to say that, but i do agree.]
