What a fucking nightmare! We are sitting 30 miles east of Dallas, stranded behind scheduled track repairs, and it will be over an hour before we move. I am looking at arriving in Austin sometime after midnight.
By the way, the train is filthy the food is awful, the staff is rude - when they aren't avoiding their pissed-off passengers and train travel has totally lost it's luster for me, lemme tell ya.
At least I have internet access in this spot, so I can bitch about 'em in real-time.
