Sign of the times

This is the kind of thing that gives me hope.

I'm listening to Michael Feldman on KCUR and they are playing the Quiz. One of the questions was about AT&T bleeping Eddie Vedder at Lollapalooza.

While performing "Daughter" during the annual Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, Pearl Jam segued into a portion of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall," during which frontman Eddie Vedder sang, "George Bush, leave this world alone" and "George Bush, find yourself another home." Those lyrics were missing from the broadcast.
On Whad'ya Know, in case you don't know, Michael plays a quiz that pairs an audience member with someone who calls in and answers a qualifying question. The audience member was a bright and engaging 12 year old. The very first question was about the incident where AT&T censored Eddie Vedder on the cybercast of Lollapalooza. (They say it was an accident. I don't believe them. Remember, they happily volunteer your web activity and emails to the NSA.)

Anyhoo...back to the future. They missed the first question, and when Michael gave the answer...The kid booed.

It isn't Bush Derangement Syndrome when the kids are playing too.

28%-ers and war supporters...that term now is all about you.
