3/16/007 Public Art Blogging: The Kemper

Kansas City has the good fortune to be home to the Kemper Family and United Missouri Bank. One of the things they give back to our community is the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. I'll save what is inside for a day the weather isn't gorgeous. Believe me, it was no sacrifice to go out and snap these -- the day was absolutely picture perfect.

Friday Public Art Blogging

I am fortunate to live in a city with some wonderful public art, and a great deal of it is near my home. Some of the best is in my public library, and as I was snapping the pictures I am posting today, a seed germinated - I will leave the cat-blogging to others. I will, instead, offer Public Art Blogging. I do, after all, live in one of the best zip codes in the nation to launch such an undertaking. I ride my bike past a Henry Moore sculpture garden on a regular basis.

And as always, show my library a little love.
