Someone Get This Wingnut An Editor

Pro-war shill Pete Hegseth jumps the shark trying to find a respectful way to call Barack Obama a Marxist terrorist Hussein kind of guy:
Despite these facts — however the mainstream media chooses to spin them — the operative question is: Will any of this matter to Obama?

I fear it won’t. He’s already shown that his version of fact-finding is to lay out an Iraq plan before going there. And while he conceded yesterday that there has been “enormous improvement” in security, Obama remains unwilling to concede change-I-can-believe-in on his three main Iraq tenets: timelines, political progress, and Iraq as a central front.

Uh, Pete? Obama went to Iraq in 2006:
Thursday, December 8, 2005
U.S. Senator Barack Obama says he hopes to get a better understanding of when it might be appropriate to decrease the United State's presence in Iraq during his first trip to that country next month.

Obama leaves for the ten-day trip January Fourth. It will include stops in Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Israel, as well as Iraq.

The Democratic freshman senator from Illinois spoke yesterday with the editorial board of the Journal Star in Peoria.

He reiterated his opposition to an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq -- but says the U.S. needs a plan to pull out in phases after next week's parliamentary elections.

Obama says the U.S. also needs to be prepared to support the Iraqi elections' outcome, even if it's not what the administration might be hoping for.

As a matter of fact, he was there at the same time you were deployed there. Perhaps if you had been paying attention, you might have known that. And there's another thing you can't complain about--he did not favor "cutting and running."

UPDATE: Hegseth repeats his lie about Obama on CBS News.com--where's his fucking editor?

I fear it won’t. He’s already shown that his version of fact-finding is to lay out an Iraq plan before going there. Once again--Obama went to Iraq in January, 2006. Hegseth was deployed there at the same time Obama visited.
