Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
When we first moved to KC, I worked in a hospital in Independence that has since closed - I worked third shift, and didn't even train on first or second, because the procedure was so different and the lab for the entire hospital had at most four employees on nights, one of whom was a phlebotomist that delivered reports to the floors, collected specimens and organized the morning run paperwork and workload. I went through my walk-through the first night and a couple of hours later, I was in the blood bank alone - so I busted out the CD's and rocked out. This song was on one of them, and my rep as the weirdest chick in that - or any - lab was cemented with my coworkers.
