Veteran's Day 2007

I'm thankful that, during my service, I did not hear a shot fired in anger. I'm thankful that my service was boring, uncomplicated, and uneventful.

The best way to observe Veteran's Day is to learn something.

Go get a book that will teach you something. I just got The Coldest Winter, by the late David Halberstam, and that's what I'm going to read.

In case you're not into the whole yellow ribbon magnet thing...
