I am making lemonade out of the lemons of a system crash. I am adding some hardware, upgrading the pieces that died and caused the crash, and switching to a different ISP since I’m down.
I’ll be posting daily, sometimes twice, but until the new ISP is active, I’m voluntarily stuck with library access. I could spend a few bucks and have a stopgap access, but there is plenty to keep me busy – I can actually get up in the morning and go buy a newspaper. A denizen of Midtown KC can go to some free presentation practically every night, and get to the event on an express-line bus.
Last night, it was Frank Kelly. Thursday, it’s a debate between Jonathan Alter and Amity Shlaes. I have three GAO reports printed out that I’ll be blogging about over the next couple of days.
If I am one of your daily stops, rest assured that I’m not slacking, I’m making an effort to post some fresh content every day, and I’ll be back with a vengeance in short order.
