So folks, here is the talking point…The next time you hear the noise machine bemoaning the Democrats as “defeatocrats” intent on losing in Iraq – remind them that we were not the ones who surrendered to the terrorists in Afghanistan to go running off to fight a vanity war in Iraq that has cost billions of dollars, thousands of American lives and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi’s.

I at least and I suspect every other soldier who has fought in Afghanistan) am offended that you term our service there as surrender. But as I pointed out on my blog the other day, offense happens.
But to say we have "surrendered" in Afghanistan is absolute foolishness and is flat out wrong. I know you are making your propaganda spiel but I expect better from you than this.
Take it up with aWol.
I think you know me well enough to know I am not referring to the troops, I am referring to taking manpower, money and materiel from Afghanistan and diverting it to a vanity war in Iraq. One of the things that pisses me off the most about the Iraq war is the diversion from Afghanistan.
But you know that.
Diversion I could live with. Distraction I could live with. (in fact I have used those words.) But surrender is just flat out wrong. And insulting.
Get over the insult. Blue Girl doesn't insult troops, and like she said, you know that.
What the fuck would you call what these draft-dodgers have done?
Blue Girl gets it, and I'm glad she's got a set big enough to call 'em like she sees 'em.
You go, Blue Girl!
Amen to all, active duty adam!
