Glad to see you aboard, Blue Girl! Great quote from M. Mead, too.
Here's another you'd like, I think:
.......
"Tonight I must make it plain and clear that as a human being, as a citizen of the world, as a citizen of America, as a Member of Congress, as an individual committed to a world at peace with itself, I will not and I cannot in good conscience vote for another dollar or another dime to support this war."
--Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), March 19, 2007 House floor
I think if Lewis can say that in the House he deserves all the backing he can get. There is no human reason the debacle should go on any longer, IMHO.
And a great article from Howard Zinn last week: Are We Politicians or Citizens?
I'd like to see The Out Of Iraq Blogroll grow so fast that I can't handle doing it myself! I think there will be no shortage of help though!
I hope this catches on like wildfire. I would dearly love to see a MILLION bloggers on the blogroll.
Happy Easter, BG!
Hopefully the Iraq occupation will be history by next Easter.
